Working with Us

We understand that delivering the correct care and support for our clients can only take place if we have the right team in place.

Building the right team starts when we receive job applications. We review all applications and short-list vigorously with the intention of recruiting only the best staff.

During interview, staff must answer an in-depth series of questions, that test their knowledge. The interview is also designed to assess whether the applicant’s values match our own.

All staff must provide a minimum of two referees and all staff must apply for an Enhanced DBS certificate (police check). Only upon receipt of satisfactory references and a satisfactory DBS certificate will staff be allowed to start employment. We fully buy into the ethos behind “safer recruitment”.

We are an equal opportunity employer and believe in having an ethnically and racially diverse workforce. As much as possible, we want to be able to match client’s with staff who come from the same or similar backgrounds and who can relate in important aspects of daily life such as language, religion and culture.

We believe that investing in staff is important, as it ensures motivated and knowledgeable people who want to do the best for our clients. Staff receive on-going training and supervision and are able to develop a very rewarding career.

Staff have options in relation to their working patterns. They can be employed on a flexible full-time and flexible part-time basis. Staff attend a 4-day Induction Programme when they start with Arale Care. After working with us for 6 months staff will have the opportunity to undertake training to attain a NVQ 2 Health & Social Care diploma.
